Police Investigating Weekend Burglaries

Large amount of copper piping taken from three residences, two possible suspects sought.

Salem Police said they are investigating three residential burglaries that took place over the weekend where "large amounts of copper piping" were stolen.

Police said Monday morning that all of the homes "appeared to be unoccupied, under construction, or for sale."

Suspects in the buglaries gained entry through basement windows or, in one case, police said they kicked in a front door.
