N.H. Sen. Chuck Morse, R-Salem, has officially been named chair of the Senate Finance Committee for the 2013-2014 legislative term.

He was one of eleven standing committee chairs announced Wednesday by Senate President Peter Bragdon.

Morse, the owner of Freshwater Farm in Atkinson, served in that capacity during the last term as well.

Morse easily won re-election to his District 22 seat last month, beating Democrat Victoria Czaia for the seat representing Salem, Pelham, Atkinson and Plaistow.
