Margaritas Set to Celebrate Mayan Calendar's End
The restaurant chain is planning to throw a party for the end of the world as we know it. (Cue the REM!)
The Eagle-Tribune reports that Margaritas Restaurant, which has a location on Keewaydin Drive in Salem, is gearing up to celebrate the end of the Mayan calendar Dec. 21 with a party the night before. Because, if the world is going to end anyway, why not live it up?
According to the paper, the Mexican establishment will hold a number of contests that night including an "Armageddon Jalapeno eating contest" as well as other prizes and giveaways.
