2. BLUE DEVILS WATCH: In Salem High sports action, boys basketball lost at Manchester Memorial 73-51. The squad is now 0-2 and will play Trinity at home on Thursday. Girls basketball edged out Manchester Memorial 53-52 for the team's first win after an 0-3 start. The girls will play at Trinity on Thursday.

THIS DAY IN HISTORY:  After nearly 14 hours of debate, the House of Representatives approves two articles of impeachment against President Bill Clinton, charging him with lying under oath to a federal grand jury and obstructing justice. Clinton, the second president in American history to be impeached, vowed to finish his term.
