Five Things: Last Day to File for Office

1. TODAY'S FORECAST: Today will cool down a bit with a high of 33 and partly cloudy skies. A partly cloudy evening will follow with a low of 17.
2. LAST DAY TO FILE: It's deadline day for those who wish to file for town or school office. For the school side, you must submit your candidacy to the Superintendent of Schools office. For the town side, you must submit your candidacy to the Town Clerk's office at Town Hall.
3. DELIBERATIVE SESSION TOMORROW: The annual town deliberative session will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Salem High School gymnasium. View the warrant and budget here.
4. 5. WHITE HOUSE MAY HEAR ABOUT 'SUPER BOWL MONDAY' HOLIDAY: A petition is gaining traction on the White House 'We the People' page to make the Monday after the Super Bowl an official holiday. The petition has close to 10,000 signatures and needs 100,000 by Feb. 23 to warrant an official response from the Obama administration.

Well all I needed to see was "JJ" and that is another person Ii won't be voting for. Voters really need to ask questions about some of these candidates, their history with our local police, their cronies they hang with in town, and where is it they make a paycheck. There are some "seedy" people that have filed for office
