N.H. Republican gubernatorial nominee Ovide Lamontagne will be getting some high-profile support today with the arrival of N.J. Gov. Chris Christie.

The bombastic, outspoken Republican Garden State governor will appear alongside Lamontagne at Freshwater Farms in Atkinson at 3 p.m.

They'll be hosted by the owner of Freshwater Farms, N.H. Sen. Chuck Morse (R-Salem).

Christie, who was the keynote speaker of the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., last month, is also scheduled to appear with Lamontagne at Atrium Medical Corp. in Hudson for a business roundtable and tour at 1:30 p.m.

Lamontagne handily won his primary Sept. 11 over challenger Kevin Smith. The Manchester attorney will face former N.H. Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-Exeter) in the November general election.
