Casino Forum to Take Place at Rockingham Park
The event will be on Thursday night.
A question and answer session related to expanded gambling at Rockingham Park has been scheduled to take place.
The event, which will be hosted by co-president of Millenium Gaming Bill Wortman, will take place on Thursday at 7 p.m.
Residents are invited to learn what a casino at Rockingham Park would mean for them. Details on the redevelopment plans will also be provided.
The event will take place in the lower grandstand of the facility.
A very similar forum took place in September 2011 and was centered on a trip by residents to the Meadows Racetrack & Casino in Washington County, Pa.

Using the Patch articles that covers the casino out in PA they want to model Rockingham after, here are some articles written about the Meadows out there: http://canon-mcmillan.patch.com/topics/The+Meadows+Racetrack+%2526+Casino?page=1&topic=The+Meadows+Racetrack+%26+Casino
The articles give a sense of how the casino is working out in that community!

From the articles it looks like it is working out pretty well.
Cheers to the Rock being NH's first casino!

We do not need any articles from anywhere. What we need to do is ask ourselves, is it going to make our taxes less, are we going to keep more money in our pockets? If not the answer should be very simple.

I wonder if this group is going to get a travel allowance so they can travel to all these other casino's. I might have to sign up, it could be a great vacation opportunity!
