(MANCHESTER, NH) (February 6, 2013) New Hampshire Republican leader and corruption fighter Andy Martin will hold a telephone news conference Thursday, February 7th to demand that Republican Party state chairman Jennifer Horn make a full disclosure of her IRS tax liabilities.

“The state Republican Party was paralyzed Monday when WMUR-TV exposed Annie Kuster’s tax shenanigans,” Andy says. “WMUR reported that the Republican Party ‘declined to comment.’ I took the lead in attacking Kuster and ridiculing my own Republicans for having an embarrassing conflict of interest. Kuster saw me coming after her – and paid her taxes.

“Horn had the audacity to repeat to the Union Leader her lie that her husband’s job is responsible for her unwillingness to pay her income taxes. Horn’s unpaid taxes are five years old. Why is Jennifer working at a full-time job for free, when she should be working to earn money to pay her back taxes? Horn apparently considers the IRS a piggy bank. Princess Jennifer is voluntarily unemployed at a time when she has five year-old tax bills. Horn is a faker and a taker, not a maker.

“Horn’s unpaid tax bill is based on her income – not the lack of income. She took in money and diverted the cash from the IRS to her own congressional campaigns. That’s illegal.

“As a Republican, I refuse to accept Horn’s lies as a substitute for the facts. I call on Horn to release all of her tax returns, her IRS correspondence and her record of her alleged ‘regular payments’ to the IRS.

“Yesterday Democratic Boss Ray Buckley fired back after Kuster’s tax issues were disclosed by saying Horn owed even more back taxes than Kuster, and Horn’s taxes were still unpaid five years later. Are Horn’s unpaid tax bills what Republicans are going to offer as ‘leadership’ and ‘change’ in 2014?

“Either Horn comes clean or gets out. Those are her options,” Andy says.

“Finally, why is the Union leader misrepresenting the ‘Kustergate’ timeline to the newspaper’s readers? The Union leader falsely reported (see link below) ‘The Republicans wasted little time…’ In point of fact, when asked by WMUR to comment on Monday, Republicans refused to criticize Kuster (see link below). It was only after I attacked Kuster and ridiculed the Republican Party’s leadership for not criticizing Kuster that Republicans were embarrassed into joining the fray. Kuster paid her taxes at 1:05 yesterday. The Republicans did not issue a news release until 1:13, - after Kuster’s taxes were already paid. Why the Union leader distorts objective facts to create a false impression is beyond me.”

The party of Mitt Romney is still throwing around demands for other people to release their tax returns.
So, not only did they rely on gullable people to accept the lies that led to the Iraq war.
Not only was their entire (failed) strategy for the 2012 election to rely on folks forgetting how,the financial crisis began.
Now they are relying on folks to forget how vigorously they defended Mitt Romney not releasing, his tax returns while demanding them of others.
That Jennifer Horn is one of their current targets, after spending weeks trying to divert attention away frommquestions about Romney is priceless, just priceless.

I am a private citizen. People don't usually post their returns. If I should run for office and my opponent agrees, we can both jointly release our returns. I have nothing to hide. Hassan, Shea-Porter, Kuster, Ayotte and Shaheen should all release theirs; they are public officials.

Live free or die has nothing to do with paying your taxes. Try telling the IRS you don't have to pay federal taxes because you live in New Hampshire and see where you end up. Public officials, moreover, are held to a higher standard than private citizens.

WASHINGTON AND LOS ANGELES — The Treasury secretary, who oversees the IRS, initially didn't pay all his taxes. Neither did five other top nominees for the Obama administration or their spouses. Now, as tonight's tax deadline looms, some Americans are rhetorically asking: What would have happened to me if I had done the same thing?

Ohhhh he paid plenty of taxes, he just trusted his tax expert on what they thought was withheld. Yes he failed to file correctly, and yes he paid what was due.

I'm not sure the people attacking a person for paying property taxes late while a politician they supported actually paid nothing for years by using an abusive religious tax deal, or one who has unpaid taxes months after being found out.

NH politics has degenerated into a game of finger pointing and accusation. Is it no wonder that our elected officials get nothing positive done that could help working people? They are too busy playing their silly games.

GOP Leader Andy Who? Maybe in his own mind which of course is questionable at best. Hey Andy when are you going to realize that no one wants anything to do with you? Year after year you try and promote yourself in the hope of making yourself relevant within the State GOP. Andy all your efforts to this point hasn't worked and will never work. So why don't you find your self a hole and climb into it.

Steve, it just doesn't matter, Geithner, Kuster, Horn or anyone else on a list. Most people hate the IRS and most know what a pain in the butt they are. Most worry that some day the will get audited. In politics tax returns are just paper trails people can get material to twist and distort in order to ruin a competitors reputation.
If anyone breaks the law IRS will prosecute. I don't know of any law that mandates the release of tax returns for a candidate.

I don't think President Obama's pro-Muslim sympathies are a "secret." While the requirement for being a Christian is merely professing to be one, Obama has never produced a baptismal certificate. In my opinion, Obama's profession of "Christianity" is merely a convenience. Obama said in 2008 he sat in church for over a decade and never "heard" a sermon. What kind of a church attender is that?

Why don't you put the New York Times story in context? I became front-page news in the New York Times because Obama's people were afraid I was leading the only successful effort to defeat Obama in 2008. Actually, I was the only opposition leader. John McCain was a disaster as a candidate and surrendered before the election even began. The Republican Party's efforts in 2008 were a joke. Sounds like 2012, doesn't it? If liberals thought I was a serious enough threat to place me on page one with almost a full-page story that means I was pretty important, right? So why are you criticizing me, unless you are a pro-Obama liberal? What's your point? Being on the front page of the New York Times is a confirmation of my success, not the opposite as you try to distort the facts, Take a look at what the Times says about page one stories:
